Johanne Boucher-Champagne
Chief Operating Officer, SFBC Anapharm Inc.

A graduate of the ƒcole de hautes Žtudes commerciales de MontrŽal, Ms. Boucher-Champagne has wide-ranging experience with health-science research activities as well as expertise and experience in business management and administration.

She began working at SFBC Anapharm as its chief operating officer in 1998. She has since helped manage its rapid growth by taking over different corporate duties and by introducing participation-based management.

Since the beginning of her career, she has worked at university research centres and contract research firms. She was involved on many occasions in setting up biological analysis laboratories and in starting up research groups on animal and human metabolism. In addition, as Business Development Manager, she had successfully helped promote the services of a new Canadian research firm within the global community of the pharmaceutical industry. For some years now, she has been working in Phase I clinical research and medication bioequivalence.
