Jeff Hood BSc, MBA is Vice President of Business Development at Icynene Inc. a manufacturer of spray foam insulation based in Mississauga ON Canada.

He is a frequent speaker to architects, builders and engineers giving seminars on the topic of energy efficient construction and the prevention of mold and condensation problems in buildings. He is a member of Construction Specifications Canada.

Jeff Hood has given more than 200 speeches on topics relating to problems with building performance and durability. Mr. Hood has spoken to audiences ranging in size up to 200 attendees including architects, builders, owners, facility managers, code officials and insurance groups and has given presentations from 15 minutes to 2 hours in length. Groups of more than 100 attendees that Mr. Hood has spoken to include the Construction Specification Institute Annual Conference (USA), the Council of Educational Facilities Planners, The Architect's League of Northern New Jersey, the Homebuilders Association of Kerrville TX, and the Association of School Business Administrators.

He was the featured presenter at a symposium on new building technology organized by the Canadian Government in New York City.
