John
Price is the President and co-founder of InfoAmericas.
From 1992 to 1999, he directed the Mexico City office of InfoAmericas
and most recently launched the firm's corporate offices in
Miami. John has analyzed Latin American markets since he first
settled in Mexico in 1992. His experience spans all of the
leading markets in the region and includes leading over 180
market intelligence projects in 16 different industries.
In
2001, John launched InfoAmericas' logistics and transportation
industry practice, having accumulated six years of market
intelligence experience in the industry. Since 1995, John
has led over 35 market research & intelligence and engagements
in the logistics and transport field, studying all facets
of transportation services plus the dynamic logistics sector
in Latin America.
As
the President of InfoAmericas, John oversees three different
offices in Miami, Mexico City and Sao Paulo and a staff of
23 consultants. His role in projects is primarily as a strategic
advisor to clients, providing advice on market positioning,
market entry, competitive trends and partnering. As chief
editor of Tendencias,
Mr.
Price writes and edits one of the region's leading business
intelligence newsletters with 7,000 active readers. Mr. Price
has taught international marketing, trade and finance at three
universities, Universidad de las Americas in Mexico City,
Universidad de Guanajuato in Guanajuato and FIU in Miami.
John is a BCOMM graduate from Queen's University in Canada.
He speaks Spanish and English fluently and struggles to get
by in German and French.
